RESULTS

Troop 17 of Elmhurst and their leaders (Ralph DeFalco and JP Ladour -- the latter WYO course setter) will co-host this event (HVO volunteers are requested) -- as has been the case for at least five years.

There will be White, Yellow, Orange and Green courses, plus a 1.5 hour long Score-O course. Forest Park is a centrally located city park in Queens, NY, great for those ready to test their map reading skills. The park has a very extensive trail network used by hikers, bike riders and joggers, yet it has very thick and totally forested areas as well.

Scouts should see the Troop 17 web page for Scout unit instructions; Training courses for Scouts (free), classes begin at 9 am.

Meet registration by the Buddy statue near the corner or Myrtle ave and 109th street. Parking is best along Park Lane South, there are no parking lots in this area. Event helpers are asked to email the event director, we need help at start and finish lines, Troop 17 has the course setting duties well in hand. All day/event workers will be treated by ED to free lunch from a local deli. See you there ...
