Results Hudson Valley Sprints / Sebago Beach -- June 17, 2006
Hudson Valley Sprints / Sebago Beach, Harriman State Park, NY
June 17, 2006
Weather: Mostly cloudy -- and, therefore, cooler than expected (70s) -- with a few brief rain spritzes
Participants: 61 (32 sprinters, 25 W/Y/Sc, and 4 non-orienteering workers)
Starts: 83

Course setter: John Fredrickson
Meet director: Guy Olsen
Picnic: Betsy Hawes, George Hawes, with special thanks to Mark Jacobson for the steak!
Helpers: Michael & Dan Ayzenberg, Karl Fredrickson, Tom Pelnar, Nadya & Kseniya Popova, Mike Sandstrom, Erin Schirm and Sergei Zhyk.

After being cancelled two weeks earlier due to a State Police man-hunt, our new date turned out to be a great day! We had a decent turnout, and the competition was fierce on the sprint courses, affecting much change in the NA Sprint Series Standings.

Much thanks to everyone for helping out, and especially to Guy Olsen for putting on another high-quality event "Guy-Style". Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the poster-size course setter notes, pre-printed maps, and the general organization of the meet. When Guy does a meet, he goes above and beyond, and this was no exception.

And without further ado, here are the results (Read More):
